2013 Democratic Hot Seat Charlie Rangel’s been in his seat for 44 years. He’s only the second congressman to represent Harlem – he defeated the first one, Civil Rights icon Adam Clayton Powell, in a primary by a few hundred votes. 2013 Republican Hot Seat Spencer Bachus has been clinging to his seat tighter than a tick for 22 years. His district takes in the Birmingham suburbs and central Alabama, but the way Spencer Bachus sees it, he really represents Wall Street.
